i would keep getting checked..neither blood (had 6) nor urine tests(took about 27) came back positive in my first pregnancy when i finally had a pos urine home test and went in the next morning for a blood test they thought i was having twins..mind you i had just had abloodd test 3 days prior....anyhow they did my ultrasound and found out uhh no not twins just that i was 3 mo along.....

I have never really had many sexual thoughts about men. I am now 21 and I still am not attracted to manly men. When I was young I was abused sexually by my uncle and by other sources. Could I be pregnant? - metallic taste, spotting, but negative test?

I am on the pill but missed one my first week of this pack. The last week and a half I have had several pregnancy symptoms--nausea, metallic taste in my mouth, certain food aversions/cravings, increased hunger and fatigue. Yesterday I had very, VERY light brown spotting. I am supposed to get my period this Saturday but took an early pregnancy test this morning. It was negative but that just doesn't feel right. Ok, so for the last two months, all I've done is spot instead of my regular period. Last month i even had some odd, on and off spotting at the wrong time. As of today (06/06/11) I will be six days late on my period for this month. Since some time in mid april, i have had some serious mood swings, aversion to food and smells i've never had before, back aches, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, restlessness and a couple other early symptoms I saw my mother and other friends/family members experience in early pregnancy. I took five home tests, three came up positive. I went to the free clinic near my home and they sent me for a qualitative blood test at the local "hospital" (it's little more than an out patient center for physical therapy and a small emergency room with a lab). The blood test also came up negative. At 19 and about 3 years from even considering wanting a family of my own, I practically skipped out of the lab office when they told me that. Despite my total confidence in not being pregnant, all my symptoms have persisted and i've even gained a little weight in spite of the fact that I eat small amounts of food and make sure the food is (usually) healthy. The fact that I have crohn's disease also determines what I eat and I have a hard time gaining weight normally because of the gastrointestinal immune disorder. I also know it's not a "hysterical pregnancy" because that would require me to worry badly enough or want to be pregnant badly enough to convince my body that I am. I'm concerned something else is wrong, but my boyfriend is still really worried that I might be pregnant. So, anyone have any ideas??

Friend In Joplin MO needs help?

So my friend is 20 and has a 8 month old son. They were in Joplin when the tornado hit but they were in a bad spot before all that happen. Pretty much her dude hits her, she has very little money, and no family to help her. Okay so basically i want help in knowing how how i should really do my make up. I know this will be hard without a picture but if you want you can mail me and ill mail a picture back and so on. But hes my best description. I have kinda skinny(not chinesse eyes but not wide eyes) brown eyes. I have acne and light acne scars between my eye brows and below my lip on my chin and i have black heads around my nose. I have thin lips and bigger brown eye lashes. I also have brown hair. I've been told i have naturally long eye lashes if that helps? haha. But im pale. Like not white as paper but im up there for pale. Im kinda more into that scene/rocker/alternative look you know but im all in for new looks too! I suppose it would be helpful if i tell you what i normally put on maybe? I usually use pencil eye liner on the bottom(thick) and then i put on a light brown eye shadow with white for crease(it blends dont worry haha) and then i use liquid eye liner on top but i dont know if i put it on wrong or what but it looks terrible when i do my entire eyelid so i do it big at the corner and thin it down to nothing midway threw my eye lid if you know what im saying. And then i put on mascara and thats it. I use no bronzer or anything. Basically becuase i dont know what colors to get or anything!! Am I eating healthy enough in first trimester?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and having the usual nausea/food aversions/sensitivities to smell. I am taking a prenatal vitamin and usually have a bowl of total raisin bran with fruit in the morning, or eggs, and sometimes both. The rest of the day, however, my appetite declines and I find it difficult to eat much of high nutritional value. Yesterday I had TWO Auntie Ann's pretzels and cheese sauce for lunch, a peach for a snack, and pb & j for dinner with a yogurt, although I was very nauseous after dinner. The soft pretzels are my one HUGE craving right now, and I have been eating a ridiculous number of these, so many that I told my husband we're going to have a pretzel in 7 months, lol. Does anyone have a take on this? Am I getting enough nutrition? Is it okay to binge on Auntie Ann's constantly? I'd appreciate any thoughts- thanks!

I don't know if it's because I'm a woman, I don't know if it's because of the cultural differences, but someone please answer this one for me. My "fiance" has really been pissing me off. For example, he is mexican, i am american. I have a license, him and his buddies and his mother do NOT. So I had a full time job, ok pay, he asks me to leave my job so I can taxi around his family and friends, with this promise that I can make alot of money and help them out at the same time. At first I was very skeptical, but I said okay due to the fact that I could relax and home and cook and clean more and have more free time. Plus that would mean he would be taking care of everything financially. I finally agreed(because at first I told him no, he begged). The reason why he wanted this was because they're passing this stupid immigration law and he's worried for his friends and family, and the agreement was that they'd be paying me. But as you can imagine, things got tight with the money income change. Ok, I was okay with that, you make sacrifices for the ones you love, got it. BUT THEN his freakin mother hasn't even paid "on her own" till this day! I drive a gas gussling car, I'm not even making a profit here. I drive his mother and her two friends to work every day. About ten miles to get there at FREAKIN 7 am in the damn morning and then I pick them up at 4pm in the afternoon. Thats twenty miles. Then on top of that she asked me to take her son to school and then pick him up in the afternoon too, another 5 miles. Then I have to take my fiance to his friends house everyday at 5am as well so that they can drive to work (he works an hour away). The friend lives about 15 miles away. As you can imagine, making all these trips and BACK every damn day in a car that isn't great with gas isn't good for the gas tank, especially with this ridiculously rising gas prices, and this is on the daily! I supposedly get paid every WEEK! My problem is the mother doesn't pay and everyday I'm stressin out because we don't have gas in the damn car and I can't do wtf I need to do because I'm so busy over extending myself and bending over backwards for these people, WHEN SHE AINT PAYIN. My fiance has to go ask for money, he calls it "borrowing" and im like dude she owes us more than, go ask her for the money that she owes for me taking her to work, and taking her son to school! His response goes a little something like this, "I don't want to ask her for money, besides, that was YOUR GUYS'S deal, not mine, you go ask her for the money." And her refused to do it. I'm so freakin pissed off it's not even funny. Then he gets an attitude like I've done something wrong! well have I?! I've been nothing but nice up until this point but I'm about to snap! This time she asked us to borrow 20$ I only let her because it was my fiance little brother's Bday. I lent her money I really didn't have and she still hasn't paid for her taxi fair or paid for her son's fair or paid me the 20$ back and I'm to to point where I'm not taking anybody any ****** where and going back to WORK!

ok im a dude 18 yr old, I weigh 105 lbs and im 5'5. I can curl a 40 lbs dumbell in one arm about 20 times. well about 30 mins ago I benched press 100 lbs 18 times. Then on my second time I benched press 110 lbs 7 times. And on my last press I benched about 110 lbs 4 times. Is that good for my age weight and height or should I just keep trying. I do cardio on my off days and I rest one day every week.

I'm a groom and I'm getting married in a couple of weeks. My fiancee has picked most of the stuff but I played a very active role in deciding the venue and the menu. I don't care about her dress, the bridesmaids dresses, flowers, centerpieces etc. I do care about my friends having a good time and having good food. We have a high end wedding planner so he really just gives her the options and she picks something and then tells me about it. If I don't agree, she picks something else. And so on. We started off hot. Then we statred to have a lot of outside problems, and she was really needy, pushing things along, she'd fly into a rage and into dispair over issues related to my kids and my ex-wife, and I'd fly into a panic everytime she over-reacted. So I spend all my money fighting my ex wife for custody, and in the meantime we got engaged, but she feels more a minor part of my chaotic world than the center of mine or her own. We moved in with my mom, who became a total pain in the butt and acted superior. Then my kids refuse to see me as long as my fiance was around. Then we get us a new place to live away from my mother. Things got really tense. Then I told my kids that I wouldn't lose them over my fiance, that I'd leave her if it was the only way to keep my kids in my life. My fiance took my letter out of my hand and read it, and saw that part, and then she started being really cold to me for months, and only occassionally made an effort or a sign of being kind to me or interested in me. We stopped having sex except every 2 weeks. I became irritable. Her kids were trashing our house, said didn't pay rent, even after gettign jobs (her son never did). I made an effort to be nice to her 4 to 5 year old son and have a relationship with him, but he saw me as competition for his mother's attention, which he momopolizes, spending all his time either acting out, climbing all over her, or biting, hitting and spittting her or her granddaughter. And my fiance has some sort of aversion to punishing him and lets him run amuck, throwing food and all sorts of things on the floor, when he doesn't get his way, or just to get attention. She spends all her time taking care of her son and her granddaughters. She has her son sleeping in the bed between us, about 26 days out of the 28 day month. Sometimes he falls asleep on the couch and it's Saturday night, and I think we are going to have sex for the first time in 2 weeks, and she goes right to sleep. We never spend time together doing anything. I try to take her out for a romantic evening and she brings her son and/or her freind and talks to them the whole night. I am ignored. I and ask if we can eat dinner together or do something together, and ask why we're not having sex nearly as often as we used to, and she says she is being smothered. I tell he I love her and she says "stop saying that all the time" She stops telling me that. I try to take her out to dinner and she dresses like she's doing yard work and insists on getting burgers at her favorite burger joint and going home. She loses her job. I Go away, and she neither seems like she is going to miss me when I leave, nor seems happy to seem me when I come back. She goes away and I take her to the airport, and tries to get out of the car and leave without kissign me goodbye or saying goodbye (I'd only been in town 3 days before she left town to see her sick father), and when she's almost ready to come home, I have to leave again. I make an elaborate "shrine" with love notes and cards we gave each other over the last 18 months since we met, and set it up in our room, so it is waiting for her when she comes home, while I'm still away. So we don't see each other for several days, and I come home and she doesn't even let me hug or kiss her at the airport, and spends the whole ride home on the phone with her daughter. Then a couple days later, I get really sick, and she starts to really mother me for a while, but then tries to say she wants to go out to the bar (where she never goes) without me because I am sick. When I try to call in sick, I go outside and close the door so her son won't come out and she lets him out and yells at me while I;m ont he phone and I yell back, and she freaks out and stops speakign to me for a week. She calls me and when she can't get me, accuses me of cheating, finds out I changed my relationship status on facebook from engaged to sort of no comment, we fight, but we go away for the weekend we have one good day, but then I she picks up the phone, and says "no, yeah, he's here" and gets off, saying she lost signal. Then she starts texting, and goes out of her way to show me a text from her daughter, but it was 2 hours old. Then someone texts her an hour later, and she responds, and sees me looking, and quickly turns away, then gets up and goes into the bathroom to finish texting. then I look at her phone later and no texts and no calls saved at those times. Normal First Trimester Symptoms?

I have my 1st OB/GYN appointment this coming Friday, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone out there has had any of the same experiences as me. I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant, and up until about 2 days ago I was having what feel like menstrual cramps on and off. They were not painful at all, in fact they were kind of comforting knowing that something was "going on" in there, lol. But I've noticed these past 2 days, I don't really feel anything, I mean I get the occasional cramp, or stretching feeling here and there. Like I said I'm going to the Doctor's in 2 days, I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has had this happen with them. I really really really want to have a healthy pregnancy and a happy healthy baby. I had a miscarriage this past January and I really don't want to go thru that again. Okay. So about a month and a half ago I bought 2 grams of blue dream weed from a friend. I smoked it a few times and I loved it. So then one day I had a baseball game and i got mad at my dad who is a coach and I threatened to not go to the game if he didn't do something and he didn't so he left and I stayed home. I kept walking and all of the sudden everything went blurry and super fast motion and I laid down. I couldn't control anything - what I was doing, saying, etc. I kept seeing pictures in my head and also numbers. It looked like it was a movie in front of me and i can only describe it as it looked like my childhood for some reason. My eyes would just look at a few things and then fixate on a random thing. It was the scariest thing I have every experienced in my life. I can't really explain it anymore. So anyway, a few nights ago I snuck out with my friend, his girlfriend, and also a friend who is a girl. So we were on a golf course and we decided to go somewhere else so we all stood up but I was a little behind. I popped a piece if mentos gum into my mouth. I few seconds after my mouth and throat went as dry as they've ever been. I tried to scream to them but i couldn't out get anything out. I leaned over and tried to talk. One of my friends turned around and said dude are you okay. I couldn't talk still. It lasted for about 15 seconds if no breathing. But while I was "choking" I saw the same things I saw when I tripped really bad and that was over a month ago. My eyes fixated on things the same way as before. Trying to figure out MY style :/. Help?

Well... Right now I'm into the rocker-ish, girly style. My style's all mixed though. Im tired of it. I'm a teenager and I guess i'm pretty laid-back (for the most part XD)but I'm also hyper and crazy at times. I dont want to be too girly and too tomboy-ish. I have an 09 civic. New driver. I have managed to get rocker panels scratched and at that deep scratched. Now i know me being a new diver this is likely to happen. But i want to make sure this never happens again, and one way i can do so is to raise the car. I need to do what the down side of doing so. And the plus. How much do you think i can raise it? Was your morning sickness worse pregnant with boy or girl?

I am about 7 weeks pregnant with my second and sure don't recall the morning sickness to be this bad. With my daughter, I had some slight nausea, some food aversions and not really anything that bad. This time around I am feeling very nauseated starting around 2pm each day, and exhaustion hits me like a ton of bricks around 6pm. My boobies are sooo sore. It seems each day gets worse (with hormone increases I am sure), and I sure hope that it doesn't interfere with my job.. It makes me wonder if my symptoms are so different because I am having a boy this time...I don't know.. Just a thought.

What should I do about my neighbor?

I have lived (with my wife) in our 2nd story apartment for almost 6 years. in the past couple years our property went smoke free so I decided to quit and I am still not smoking. About 2 months ago a lady rented the studio apartment below ours that the rest had been converted into the managers office. Out of no where we start getting talked to by the manager about her complaints of us smoking in our apartment. My wife smokes ONLY when out at bars and social events where others are smoking but never at our apartment. So because the property manager and assistant manager are both friends of ours, they no we are not smoking and that this lady is a little off her rocker. about a month ago we started hearing very loud bangs that sometimes shook our apartment that come from the studio below. On 6/15 there is a letter on our door typed from our neighbor telling us that our smoking in the apartment is causing her health issues and is upsetting her dogs hyperthyroid issue. I wrote her a very professional letter back stating that A. We do not smoke. B. we have 2 indoor cats that we would NEVER make them suffer from second hand smoke. C. that we both live right on a busy road and maybe she is smelling the car exhaust. and D. smoke rises. the last thing I wrote was the times and dates of some previous banging noises and asked that they stop. about 2 days later we had another letter from her stating that she is definatly smelling our cigarette smoke and that the banging is happening when she smells us smoking. SO, I have talked to the property manager, she is fed up with the psycho, I have emailed HER boss twice with no response. I can't catch the banging on camera because it is at the most random times. I don't want to get the police involved only because having been raised by a cop I know they have better **** to do with their time than knock on doors and smell for cigarettes. Even if I do call them she will probably make up some B S story about how it is all in our heads and we smoke (Crazy people can make up some really believable stories when they need to, I dated a few...) (j/k) Does anyone have similar experiences, how did you deal with it, or does anybody have any suggestions on how I should move forward? Thank you for you reading!

Why don't my friends wanna hang out with me?

Hey guys I really need some advice. Okay so here is my story starting from grad 8. When I entered grad 8 I had a hand full of friends. I was not the popular guy but I was no loner. But I had one problem. I skipped school everyday. I was barley at school. But I still hanged out with my friends and they still made up stories to my teachers when they asked them where am I. So I am grateful for that. Anyways I skipped school until I was in grad 10 and during grad 10 my vice principle had enough and told me to go to this special school so I can catch up on all the work I missed and he said I can come back for grad 12 which is grad year. So I agreed and I went to this school not telling my friends I just sorta left without telling anyone except my family. So I went to this school for 2 years and got lots of work done. But during those 2 years I never once hanged out with my friends I just told them what happen and talked to them on facebook time to time. I have an older brother and sister and they both always go out and hang out with their friends. So I thought I'll just message all of my friends on facebook asking them if they want to hang out. All of them always made up excuses. And for 2 years it was like this. The only time I went out is when my brother went and hanged out with his friends because my friends for some reason did not want to hang out with me. And my sister, mom, and dad always say "You have no friends so you go and hang out with your brothers friends" I just ignore them but in the inside it hurts me because I really feel like I have no friends. I'm 17 and my brother and his friends are 20. They like me though because they say I'm funny and they feel like they can do anything when I am around them becasue I am younger what ever that means. They always ask my older brother when he goes out and I stay home doing nothing other then browsing t.v. channels for 2 hours "Dude wheres your brother? (me) Hes MIA (Missing Out In Action). So they like me but I still feel like I'm not wanted by them becasue they are probable thinking "Doesn't this kid have his own friends as well." It really hurts me because I make up fake stories to my brother and his friends. Like I would say things like "Hey guys my friends are planning a party but I don't wanna go." I'm returning to my old school this coming school year and I am the only one out of my so called friends that can drive and I think they will only hang out with me becasue I have a car and I am willing to except that becasue I can then say "Yes I do have friends and we hang out all the time." Just the other day I asked my old friend from grad 8, 9, and 10 for his number so I can text him and we can plan a hang out he said to me "Sorry bro I got no cell." Then one day this girl that I know asked him the very same question the next day and he pulled out his phone and gave her the number. I still see some of my old friends walking down the street and they see me sometimes hanging out with my brothers friend and they just wave and keep walking and I have not hanged out with them for 2 years. So can you guys please give me so advice on how I can start hanging out with my friends or do they really not want me and I need new friends? And why don't they wanna hang out with me? If so I so hope I can be one of those dudes. I know they are wrong and it's totally messed up that men hit women. I couldn't hold down anything. I didn't really start gaining weight until the end of my second trimester. I'm 3 days overdue now and have only gained around 20 lbs for the entire pregnancy and my baby is perfectly fine. Heartbeat sounds great, she's measuring great. You'll be okay. I'm starting high school this year and I wanted to know how to start a band. Being from where I'm at, it's going to be hard to find many metalheads, as everyone listens to either rap or country (Awkward mix, eh?). At this rate, I'd settle for rockers, too. i was driving home from work the other day when suddenly i heard a loud banging coming from what sounded like a valve banging the rocker cover , when i pulled over and had the bonnet up it was sounded fine at idle but when u put a little bit of power it made the bangin noise again. I go to metal concerts and im a girl! I think they are so much fun! 14 month old and sleep please help !!!!!?

My son was the same way. He was up one to two times during the night until between 11-13 months (when I then changed his routine). That's when I had to make a strict schedule for him and that seemed to help A LOT! First, let her decide what bedtime works best for her. If you try to force a specific bedtime that young that does not work well with your child, you will make both your lives miserable. I put my son to bed at all different times for a while and found that 10 PM works best for him. He goes to bed at 10 and usually does not wake up throughout the night. Also, I started giving him a snack before bed (never did before, always thought it wasn't healthy) and I made the rule if he gets up before 8 AM, he's not allowed to get out of bed until at least 8 (that's the earliest time I've found that he can get up and be well rested enough to last until nap time. Then, I figured out what nap time works best for him too (not too early or late in the day) and started giving him the same nap time every day (1 PM). He usually sleeps for three hours at nap time and then is rested to stay awake until bedtime again. It really improved his sleeping habits majorly and helped a lot with his constant desire for a bottle. I never thought a strict schedule for a child was that important, but found it really is. Just try different times and let your child show you what they prefer best and go with it. If 9 PM isn't a good time for her, maybe try 9:30- 10 or so. It may be later than what you want her going to bed, but if it causes her to get a full nights sleep, you both will be better off.

Very irregular periods?

For sure you'll want to bring this up the next time you have your female exam. I too have had very irregular periods my whole adult life and I found the pill to be a very good way to control it. Ask your doctor about going on a three month plan, where you only have your period four times a year... it's SO much more convienvent. Your body may still be underweight and your eating habits still not good. The body knows when it's capable of convieving and if red flags are going up that you don't have the proper fat content or that your diet is bad, you simply may not have a cycle. BMI sites I was putting your height and weight into were saying you were around a 18.2 and they consider anything under 18.5 to be underweight.

Pregnant? Period? Or what?

I am always pretty regular with my period. Always around a 30 day cycle. I had a period that started on April 6th and lasted my typical 5 days. I have been having a lot of unprotected sex. I then seemed to have started my period April 27th. Wasn't very heavy, it was light bleeding for around 6 days and then over the next 4 days I had some spotting. I have never really had a light period or spotting like that before. Now I am severely nauseous and am having strange aversions to certain food smells. I wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I am going to puke. I have had headaches the past couple of days that aren't very bad but they wont go away. I have been very bloated and have had some light cramping and lower back pain. Did I just have a very strange period for me, do you think I could possibly be pregnant, or could I just have some strange virus? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm 22 and I came across some pictures from high school on my friend's Facebook. They were pictures of our graduation and senior prom and it just looked so happy and exciting because all the pictures had people posing and having fun. The only thing I did during graduation was some small talk with a couple friends and then left immediately after the ceremony. I didn't go to prom but I noticed most of my classmates did. I don't why I didn't go; I remember my mother actually insist I go since it seemed like I just sat at home all day. I believe part of it was that prom wasn't for me; it's people dancing and I have an aversion to dancing or really any social function. Strong aversion to food especially meat, nothing is helping?

I am 9 weeks pregnant with my second and I can't eat. I eat maybe 2 or 3 bites of something and I feel like I have had Thanksgiving dinner. Cooking is even worse. The thought of cooking makes me feel sick and the smell of cooking makes me actually get sick. I feel like I have a stomach flu all the time. Its constant nausea. I did NOT have this with my first. Meat triggers me worst of all. I just dont know what to do. We are spending money on food out all the time just to avoid cooking but then I hardly eat anyway. Im so tired of being this way, I am miserable. My doctor has put me on a rx for zofran dissolve tabs and I take one every 8 hours. Actually you don't want a year supply of diapers because depending on how fast you child grows or depending on how your child pees, will depend on what kind of diapers will work the best. My son was in Pamper Swaddlers to begin with, then we moved on to Huggies because he was leaking out the Pampers Swaddlers because they got to little on him, the Huggies were the regular ones and I only used them because I had over 400, then we moved to Luvs because they were cheaper, then the gel beads started coming out of them so we switched back to Pampers Cruisers and so far no leaks. I would suggest you get a just a few packs of diapers and then buy more as you go along. Also you should probably buy your breast pump because you want to check out different ones and see which one you might like the best. I guess if you get some gift cards at your shower you could use them to buy it. You can get the year supply of wipes but you might want to tell them to get the hypo allergenic ones in case you little one is sensitive to the dyes and perfumes that are in them. You should register for lotions/shampoos, rash creams, bottles and pacis. Those can be expensive too and getting them at a shower is awesome. Also book, the jumperoo you should register for too. The carseat, convertible crib need to be bought new, because getting one second hand you never know if it has been in an accident or how old it is and both of those have expiration dates. Also you would need to check to see if they have been recalled. So register and then if you don't get them, then buy how you want but always first register for all the big stuff and see what you get and what you don't.
